Long Island Group is part of the Civil Air Patrol the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. It consists of seven cadet squadrons, and one senior squadron. The eight squadrons serve both Nassau and Suffolk Counties and is part of New York Wing.
Currently, including Group Staff there are a total of 356 CAP members. 154 seniors and 202 cadets. We are continually looking for new members (cadet and seniors).
